Guide · Express facial
Express facial in Singapore what really fits in 30, 45 or 60 minutes
A quick facial should fit your lunch break and leave nothing your colleagues would notice. Here are the real session times at SkinRev Lab, CityLink Mall, what each short facial can and cannot do, and how to plan it around work.

Quick answer
- An express facial in Singapore is a short facial, usually 30 to 60 minutes, that cleans, hydrates or calms the skin with little or no downtime, so you can go straight back to work. At SkinRev Lab the quickest options are SKINLDM, about 30 minutes including a basic facial, and HydraFacial Syndeo, 45 minutes on every tier.
- Prices before GST: SKINLDM S$288 (first visit S$68); HydraFacial Syndeo Signature S$288, Deluxe S$388 and Platinum S$438, with a first-timer rate at the counter; the Rejuran® PDRN Facial's 60-minute Essential tier from S$128. Perk Lip and Perk Eye add about 15 minutes each.
- A quick facial refreshes the surface. It will not lift sagging skin, clear melasma or fill acne scars, and your first visit takes longer because it starts with a short assessment.
- SkinRev Lab is at CityLink Mall #B1-28, on the underground link between City Hall and Esplanade MRT, open daily 11am to 8pm, so most nearby offices can reach it without going outside.
What counts as express
Express facial in Singapore: what counts as quick
"Express", "lunchtime" and "quick" facial are loose terms. A useful definition is a facial that takes about 30 to 60 minutes, needs no numbing cream that has to sit for half an hour, and leaves nothing more than brief, mild redness. That rules in gentle device facials and rules out deeper resurfacing, peels with flaking, lasers and injectables.
Be wary of a "30-minute facial" that is really a shortened version of a longer one. Ask what is actually included in the time: cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, a mask or serum, and whether the quoted time includes changing and settling the bill.

30 minutes
A 30-minute facial: SKINLDM
If you only have half an hour, SKINLDM is the shortest facial on the menu: about 30 minutes, including a basic facial. It uses LDM (local dynamic micro-massage) ultrasound, rapidly alternating frequencies that create a gentle micro-massage in the skin rather than heat, with no needles or acids.
It suits sensitive, redness-prone or reactive skin, including skin that is breaking out, and most clients go straight back to their day. It calms rather than corrects: it does not extract blackheads deeply, break down pigment or resurface scars.
45 minutes
The 45-minute lunchtime facial: HydraFacial Syndeo
HydraFacial Syndeo is the most straightforward lunchtime facial: three steps in 45 minutes to cleanse and gently peel, extract by vortex suction, and infuse serum. Because extraction is by suction rather than squeezing, there are usually no red marks afterwards, and make-up can go on the same day.
All three tiers take 45 minutes; SkinRev Lab does not offer a shortened 30-minute HydraFacial. Deluxe adds a targeted booster with LED support, Platinum adds further steps, and the JLo Beauty Booster (+S$68) can be added to any tier within the session. Perk Lip and Perk Eye add about 15 minutes each, so book a longer slot if you want them.
The research is small: short studies show a smoother, more hydrated surface and fewer acne lesions over a series. It is a maintenance facial, commonly repeated every four to six weeks.
60 minutes
A long lunch: 60-minute options
With a full hour, the Rejuran® PDRN Facial's 60-minute tiers fit: Singapore Essential (S$128), Oriental Essential (S$148) and Korea Signature (S$248), before GST. Every tier uses the same needle-free c-PDRN infusion; longer tiers add techniques such as extraction or LED, and suit an after-work slot better. The effect on skin quality builds over a course rather than in one visit.
The Needleless SkinBooster delivers a hydration, tone or skin-quality booster to one region without needles; the session time is confirmed when you book. It is a targeted add-on rather than a full facial, and pairs well with a short facial when one concern needs more attention.
Quick vs full
Quick facial or full facial: what you give up
A short facial trims the parts that take time: long massage, steaming, hand extraction of every pore, double masking. For clearing congestion and hydrating, a well-designed 45-minute device facial can do as much as a longer manual one. For relaxation, or for heavily congested skin that needs careful extraction, a longer session suits better.
Frequency matters more than length. One 45-minute facial every four to six weeks, kept up, does more for most skin than an occasional 90-minute treat. Exfoliation briefly disturbs the skin barrier, so more often is not always better.
Planning
Fitting a facial into a one-hour lunch
Allow for the walk both ways. CityLink Mall sits underground between City Hall and Esplanade MRT, so most of the route stays out of the midday sun and rain.
- Book ahead on WhatsApp (+65 8266 9585) and say how much time you have; SkinRev Lab opens at 11am daily.
- Book your first visit on a day with some slack, because it starts with a short assessment by an Aesthetic Specialist.
- Arrive a few minutes early, without heavy make-up if you can.
- From Raffles City, Esplanade or Marina Square, follow the underground signs to CityLink Mall; from Raffles Place, take the MRT one stop to City Hall.
- For a course, a regular weekly or monthly slot is easier to keep than ad hoc bookings.
- If lunch runs short, SkinRev Lab is open until 8pm, including weekends and public holidays.
Back to work
Aftercare before heading back to the office
Exfoliating facials disturb the skin barrier for a short time. In a split-face study of diamond microdermabrasion, water loss through the skin rose straight after treatment and was still raised at 24 hours, returning to normal by day 2. Keep that evening's skincare gentle.
Singapore's UV index commonly reaches very high and extreme levels on clear days, and NEA notes that UV peaks between 11am and 3pm, which is exactly lunchtime. Reapply sunscreen before you leave and take the underground route back.
- Reapply broad-spectrum sunscreen before going outside.
- Skip retinoids and exfoliating acids that night.
- Avoid scrubbing make-up on and off; pat it on if you need it.
- Do not book a heavy-extraction facial right before an important meeting.
- Do not try a new booster for the first time on a day you cannot afford a reaction.
Limits
What an express facial cannot do
A short facial works on the surface and upper layers of the skin. It can clear, calm and hydrate. It cannot lift sagging skin, treat melasma, fill deep acne scars or replace prescription treatment for acne or rosacea.
Those concerns need a doctor. At IN Eternity Clinic, 9 Scotts Road, #12-01 Pacific Plaza, beside Orchard MRT, Dr Sin Yong assesses and treats them with medical lasers and other procedures, priced at consultation by the clinic. Injectables and lasers are not ideal right before work commitments, because bruising, swelling or crusting is unpredictable.

Common questions
Your questions,
answered
What is an express facial?
A short facial, usually 30 to 60 minutes, designed to clean, hydrate or calm the skin with little or no downtime. It suits a lunch break or a busy day, but it refreshes the surface rather than treating deeper concerns.
Is there a 30-minute facial at SkinRev Lab?
Yes. SKINLDM takes about 30 minutes, including a basic facial, and suits sensitive or redness-prone skin. It is S$288 before GST, with a first visit at S$68.
How long does a HydraFacial take?
At SkinRev Lab, every HydraFacial Syndeo tier, Signature, Deluxe and Platinum, takes 45 minutes. Perk Lip and Perk Eye add about 15 minutes each.
Can I go back to work after a lunchtime facial?
Yes, after SKINLDM, HydraFacial Syndeo or a Rejuran® PDRN Facial most people go straight back to work. Very sensitive skin may look slightly flushed for a short while.
Is a quick facial worth it?
For regular maintenance, yes. A 45-minute device facial can clear congestion and hydrate as well as a longer one; what you give up is mainly massage and relaxation. It will not treat melasma, sagging or deep scars.
How often can I get an express facial?
HydraFacial Syndeo is commonly repeated every four to six weeks. SKINLDM and the Rejuran® PDRN Facial are planned as a course at your assessment, then maintenance.
What should I avoid after a lunchtime facial?
Reapply sunscreen before going out, skip retinoids and exfoliating acids that night, and avoid scrubbing make-up on and off. Do not book a heavy-extraction facial right before an important meeting.
How do I get to SkinRev Lab from Raffles Place?
Take the East-West or North-South line one stop to City Hall, then follow the CityLink Mall signs underground to unit #B1-28. From Raffles City, Esplanade or Marina Square, you can walk underground.
