Alma PrimeX

Alma PrimeX is a multi-technology platform that brings several distinct modes together in one device. Three of them matter here: microplasma for resurfacing, UltraWave ultrasound for body contouring, and UniBody radiofrequency for skin tightening.

At SkinRev Lab, PrimeX technologies power two treatments: SKINTIGHT and SKINUSHAPE. This page explains each mode; booking and pricing are on the treatment pages.

The three modes

Mode 1 · Resurfacing

Microplasma

Alma’s microplasma is a radiofrequency-based technology. High-frequency energy at 40.68 MHz is released through pins that discharge close to the skin, creating plasma that forms microablative channels alongside a thermal effect. The result is skin resurfacing, scar revision and the fading of stretch marks — with less downtime than fully ablative lasers. This is the mode behind SKINTIGHT.

Mode 2 · Body contouring

UltraWave (Ultrasound)

UltraWave uses guided ultrasound waves that selectively act on adipose tissue, reducing fat and circumference in larger areas such as the abdomen, waist and thighs. A cone-shaped focus concentrates the ultrasound for efficiency, and pulsed delivery is used for cellulite. This is the basis of SKINUSHAPE.

Mode 3 · Skin tightening

UniBody (Unipolar RF)

UniBody combines unipolar radiofrequency with a rotating massage head, delivering deep dermal heating at several depths to remodel collagen. Alma’s 40.68 MHz frequency is designed for deep, homogenous heating, and the massage head supports circulation and helps improve the appearance of cellulite. It complements body contouring by firming the skin over a treated area.
