Is HydraFacial worth it in Singapore? What you get for S$288 to S$438
HydraFacial costs more than a basic facial, and its result is temporary. Here is what it does well, what it cannot do, and how to decide whether it is worth it for your skin.

Quick answer
- HydraFacial is worth it when your concern is congested pores, dullness or dehydration and you want a same-day result with little downtime.
- It is a maintenance facial: the glow lasts about one to two weeks, so budget for it every four to six weeks rather than as a one-off fix.
- It is not worth it for scars, melasma or sagging skin, which need other treatments.
- At SkinRev Lab, CityLink Mall, Signature is S$288, Deluxe S$388 and Platinum S$438 per session before GST, on a genuine HydraFacial Syndeo.
What HydraFacial actually changes
A HydraFacial cleanses, exfoliates, lifts out pore congestion with vortex suction and infuses hydrating serums in one session of about 45 minutes. Skin usually looks brighter and feels smoother straight away, and makeup sits better for the following days. See the full HydraFacial Singapore guide for the steps and the research.
What it cannot do
- It does not remove acne scars or pitted scars, which need treatments that reach the dermis.
- It does not clear melasma or deep pigmentation; brightening is surface-level.
- It does not lift or tighten sagging skin. For that, see SKINLIFT non-surgical face lift.
- The result fades, so it suits a routine rather than a one-time fix.
Is the price worth it?
Compared with a basic facial, you pay more for machine-controlled extraction, serum infusion and consistency between sessions. Compared with doctor-led treatments, it is cheaper and gentler but shallower. Our HydraFacial price guide shows what each tier includes and when the boosters are worth adding.
When it is worth it, and when it is not
- Worth it: congested pores, blackheads, dull or dehydrated skin, a glow before an event, a monthly routine.
- Think twice: active breakouts with open lesions, sunburn, a recent peel or laser, or if your real concern is scars, pigmentation or sagging.
- Ask first: pregnancy, rosacea-prone or very sensitive skin, which may suit a gentler tier.
Common questions
Your questions,
answered
Is a HydraFacial worth the money?
It is worth it if your main concerns are congested pores, dullness or dehydration and you want a visible result the same day with little downtime. It is not worth it if you expect it to treat scars, melasma or sagging.
How much does a HydraFacial cost in Singapore?
At SkinRev Lab, Signature is S$288, Deluxe S$388 and Platinum S$438 per session before GST. Elsewhere in Singapore prices commonly range from about S$200 to over S$500 depending on the tier and the clinic.
How long does the result last?
The glow and hydration are most visible for about one to two weeks. Most people repeat it every four to six weeks.
Is HydraFacial better than a regular facial?
It is more consistent, because the vortex extraction and serum infusion are machine-controlled, and it is gentler than manual extraction. A regular facial costs less and still suits simple upkeep.
Who should skip HydraFacial?
Anyone with an active rash, sunburn, open acne lesions or a recent peel or laser should wait. Pregnancy and some medications also need a check first; see our pregnancy guide.
