HIFU price in Singapore, 2026 market ranges, and what actually drives the cost

HIFU prices in Singapore range from a few hundred dollars to several thousand. Here is what clinics listed publicly in October 2026, why the numbers vary so much, and how to compare offers fairly.

Quick answer

  • In October 2026, the Singapore clinic websites we checked listed medical HIFU from about S$300 for a small area and roughly S$1,200 to S$3,000 per session for a full face. Most did not say whether GST was included.
  • Ultherapy, a premium focused-ultrasound brand with built-in imaging, was listed at roughly S$2,500 to S$4,500 for the lower or full face. Thermage, which is radiofrequency rather than ultrasound, ranged from about S$1,600 for the eyes to S$4,500 or more for the face.
  • The price is driven by the device and its cartridges or transducers, the number of shots or lines, the areas treated, and whether a doctor assesses and treats you.
  • At IN Eternity Clinic, HIFU is performed by Dr Sin Yong on the Ultraformer MPT and priced at consultation. SkinRev Lab's non-medical SKINLIFT® is S$888 for the face and S$488 for the double chin per session, before GST.

Market ranges

What HIFU and similar treatments cost in October 2026

These ranges come from public websites of Singapore medical aesthetic clinics and a clinic directory, checked in October 2026. Most pages showed 'from' prices, many were last updated in 2025 or 2026, and few said whether GST was included. Treat them as a guide to the market, not a quote.

A price is per session unless a page says otherwise. Packages, first-visit offers and consultation fees, which some clinics charge separately, can change the total.

Price drivers

Why HIFU prices vary so much

  • The device: branded systems with imaging, such as Ultherapy, sit at the top; cartridge-based HIFU such as Ultraformer is usually lower, and other systems can be lower again.
  • Consumables: HIFU cartridges and Ultherapy transducers have a limited number of shots or lines before they must be replaced, and that cost is built into each treatment.
  • Shots or lines: more severe laxity and larger areas need more, and more costs more.
  • Areas: a double chin or jawline costs far less than full face and neck.
  • Who performs it: a doctor's assessment and time are part of the price, along with any consultation fee.
  • What is included: numbing cream, a review visit a few months later, and whether GST is in the headline figure.

Shots and lines

Why you cannot compare shot counts between brands

HIFU is usually sold by shots and Ultherapy by lines. Each is one pass of the handpiece delivering a row of heated points, but the energy per shot or line, the depth and the spacing differ between devices. A plan of 600 shots on one machine is not the same dose as 600 lines on another.

For Ultherapy, clinic pages in Singapore described roughly 500 lines for a full face with under-chin, 600 to 800 lines for a full face, and 800 or more for face and neck. Ask how many shots or lines will go to each area and at which depths, then compare plans for the same device, not across devices.

Non-medical option

SKINLIFT® at SkinRev Lab: a different service at a different price

SKINLIFT® is not medical HIFU and not a cheaper version of it. It is a 30-minute, needle-free session of multi-sequential pulsed ultrasound, done by an Aesthetic Specialist at SkinRev Lab, a non-invasive aesthetic centre at CityLink Mall, with no numbing. It is aimed at the jowls, jawline, nasolabial area and double chin.

It suits early softening of the jawline or jowls and keeping an existing result maintained, and is planned as a short course after an assessment. SKINLIFT® Face is S$888 and SKINLIFT® Double Chin is S$488 per session, before GST. Where the Aesthetic Specialist sees deeper laxity, we suggest a medical assessment instead.

Medical HIFU

HIFU at IN Eternity Clinic

At IN Eternity Clinic, 9 Scotts Road, #12-01 Pacific Plaza, beside Orchard MRT, HIFU is performed by Dr Sin Yong (MBBS Singapore, MRCS Edinburgh, MSc Practical Dermatology Cardiff) on the Ultraformer MPT. He looks at skin thickness, fat distribution and where the sagging sits before deciding the depths, the number of lines and whether HIFU alone makes sense.

The clinic gives the price at consultation, because it depends on the areas and the plan. SkinRev Lab does not quote medical prices. WhatsApp IN Eternity Clinic on +65 8815 3008, Monday to Saturday, 11am to 8pm, or ask SkinRev Lab to pass on your enquiry.

Before you pay

Questions to ask about any HIFU offer

  • Which device is it, by brand and model? 'HIFU' alone does not tell you.
  • Is the cartridge or transducer genuine and new enough to deliver its rated shots?
  • How many shots or lines go to each area, and at which depths?
  • Who assesses you and who performs it? Is it a doctor?
  • Is the price per session or a package, and does it include GST, numbing and a review?
  • Is anyone promising a fixed lift or a set duration? Results vary, and a responsible provider says so.

Evidence

What the research says you get for the money

A 2020 systematic review and meta-analysis of 17 studies with 477 participants found HIFU safe in the short term with a moderate effect on face and neck rejuvenation, while noting that long follow-up was rarely reported. A 2023 review of single micro-focused ultrasound treatments found measurable tightening, such as brow lifts of about 0.5 to 1.7 mm, with poorer results in more severe laxity.

Most of the change appears over two to three months as new collagen forms. In practice, a higher price buys a particular device, more lines and a doctor's time; it does not buy a certain outcome. The right candidate matters more than the price tag.

Doctor first

When price should not be the deciding factor

  • A very thin face with little fat: over-treatment can deepen hollows, so depth planning matters.
  • Mainly lost volume: HIFU tightens; it will not replace volume, so a biostimulator or filler may suit better.
  • Heavy sagging with folds of excess skin: a surgical opinion is more honest advice.
  • Pregnancy, active skin infection or inflamed acne in the area, implanted electronic devices, recent fillers or threads, keloid scarring or facial numbness: tell the doctor first.

Common questions

Your questions,
answered

How much does HIFU cost in Singapore?

In October 2026, clinic websites listed medical HIFU from about S$300 for a small area and roughly S$1,200 to S$3,000 per session for a full face. Most did not say whether GST was included, so ask for the full price before booking.

Why is Ultherapy more expensive than other HIFU?

Ultherapy is a premium brand whose transducers show the tissue on screen while treating, and its consumables cost more. In October 2026 it was listed at about S$2,500 to S$4,500 for the lower or full face. A higher price does not by itself mean a better result.

Is cheap HIFU worth it?

It depends what you are buying. Ask for the device brand, the number of shots per area, whether the cartridge is genuine and who performs it. A very low price with none of that information is a reason to ask more questions.

How many HIFU sessions do I need?

Many people have one session and are reviewed after two to three months, then plan maintenance. The number depends on your laxity, skin thickness and goals, and should be set after an assessment.

Is Thermage a type of HIFU?

No. Thermage uses monopolar radiofrequency, not ultrasound. It heats a broad volume of dermis, while HIFU heats small points at set depths. In October 2026 Thermage was listed from about S$1,600 for the eyes to about S$4,500 for the face.

How much is HIFU at IN Eternity Clinic?

HIFU at IN Eternity Clinic is priced at consultation by the clinic, because it depends on the areas treated and the plan Dr Sin Yong recommends. WhatsApp +65 8815 3008 to enquire.

How much is SKINLIFT® at SkinRev Lab?

SKINLIFT® Face is S$888 and SKINLIFT® Double Chin is S$488 per 30-minute session, before GST. It is a non-medical pulsed-ultrasound treatment, not medical HIFU.

Do HIFU prices in Singapore include GST?

Often it is not stated. Most clinic pages we checked in October 2026 showed a 'from' price without saying whether GST was included, so ask for the total, including any consultation fee.
