Flat Nose Bridge Treatment in Singapore

A low bridge or a soft, rounded tip can be shaped without surgery, but the nose is the area where injection safety matters most.

Quick answer

  • A low bridge or a soft, rounded tip can be shaped without surgery, but the nose is the area where injection safety matters most.
  • Medical, performed by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic (Pacific Plaza, Orchard): Nose Filler, Nose Thread Lift.
  • Assessment first; individual results vary. Medical pricing is given at consultation.

A flat nose bridge means the line from between the eyes down the nose sits low, so the eyes can look further apart and the face looks flatter in profile. Many people also notice a broad or rounded tip that does not point forward. This shape is common in East Asian faces and is a normal variation, not a flaw. If you are looking into flat nose bridge treatment in Singapore, it helps to know which part of the nose you want changed, because the bridge and the tip need different tools.

The nose has three zones to think about. The upper end of the bridge, between the eyes, is called the radix. The middle is the dorsum, the long line most people mean by the bridge. The lower part is the tip, held up by soft cartilage and a small column of skin between the nostrils. A low radix and dorsum can be built up with injected gel. A tip that needs lift or a sharper angle is often shaped with dissolving threads that act as an internal support.

There is an important safety point. Blood vessels on the nose connect to the vessels that feed the eye, so filler in the wrong place can block blood flow. That is rare, but it is the reason nose treatments are always done by a doctor. SkinRev Lab does not perform any nose procedure. Nose filler and nose thread lifts are performed by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic.

What goes where

The honest ladder:
non-invasive first, medical when it is needed

At SkinRev Lab · non-invasive

There is no non-invasive treatment at SkinRev Lab that changes this concern. We will say so at the first visit and pass your enquiry to IN Eternity Clinic.

At IN Eternity Clinic · Dr Sin Yong

Nose Filler — Hyaluronic acid filler placed deep along the radix and dorsum to raise a low bridge and straighten the profile. Performed by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic using slow, small amounts in a deep plane, with dissolving enzyme kept on hand. How it works

Nose Thread Lift — Absorbable PDO threads inserted through a small entry point to support the columella and tip, sometimes combined with filler on the bridge. It can lift a rounded tip; it does not reduce nose size. How it works

Enquiries to SkinRev Lab about medical treatments are passed to IN Eternity Clinic, where Dr Sin Yong performs them.

There is no non-invasive way to raise a nose bridge, so everyone considering it should see the doctor first. You can message SkinRev Lab and we will route you to the clinic. Speak up early if you have had nose surgery or implants, previous nose filler or threads, a history of cold sores near the nose, or any bleeding disorder. People hoping to make a large nose smaller, correct a crooked septum or improve breathing usually need a surgical opinion instead. Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic will tell you whether filler, threads, both or a referral suits your nose.

What the research says

The evidence,
with sources

A 2024 systematic review of 30 studies covering 9,657 non-surgical rhinoplasty patients found that hyaluronic acid was by far the most used material, satisfaction was generally high and most side effects were mild, such as redness and swelling. However, serious vascular events, including blindness, skin necrosis and stroke, were reported in up to 0.27% of patients. An update on vision loss after filler found the nose to be the most frequently involved site, accounting for more than half of the new cases reviewed.

Evidence for nose threads is thinner. A retrospective study of 31 Korean patients treated with PDO threads and filler reported improved tip projection and nasolabial angle at six months, with minor complications. On the other side, a case series of patients needing revision surgery after thread rhinoplasty described visible or extruding threads at the tip and irregularity along the bridge, and removal sometimes required grafting. These findings are why careful selection and an experienced doctor matter.

Common questions

Your questions,
answered

What does flat nose bridge treatment in Singapore involve without surgery?

Most commonly, hyaluronic acid filler is placed deep along the bridge to raise it, and dissolving PDO threads may be used to support the tip. Both are done under local numbing in one visit. These are medical procedures, so they are performed by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic, not at SkinRev Lab. The aim is a straighter, more defined profile that still suits your face.

How much does flat nose bridge treatment in Singapore cost?

Nose filler and nose thread lifts are medical treatments, so pricing is given at consultation with Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic. The amount of filler, the number of threads and whether both are combined vary between noses, so a fixed price without an examination would not be accurate. You will know the cost before treatment begins.

Is nose filler safe?

Most people have only mild redness, swelling or bruising. The serious risk is filler blocking a blood vessel, which can damage skin and, rarely, cause vision loss, and the nose is the most common site for this in published reports. Doctors reduce the risk with deep, slow, small injections, and hyaluronic acid can be dissolved quickly if a problem is suspected.

Filler or threads: which is right for me?

Filler is usually preferred for raising a low bridge and smoothing small bumps. Threads are more often used to lift and support a rounded or drooping tip. Many people have both. Threads carry their own risks, such as a thread becoming visible or working its way out at the tip. Dr Sin Yong will explain which suits your nose and why.

How long do the results last?

Nose filler breaks down gradually, and it may last longer on the bridge than in parts of the face that move a lot. PDO threads dissolve over months while the tissue around them firms. How long the shape lasts varies with your nose, the product and the amount used. A review appointment helps decide whether and when a touch-up is sensible.

Can it make my nose smaller or fix breathing?

No. Filler and threads add support or height; they cannot shorten a long nose, narrow wide nostrils much, or straighten a deviated septum. Adding height to the bridge can sometimes make the nose look slimmer from the front, but it does not reduce size. Breathing problems need an ear, nose and throat or surgical opinion.
