Race week
A note for Singapore Grand Prix week
During Singapore Grand Prix race week, roads around the Marina Centre and Padang area are closed in stages; for 2026, LTA announced closures from 7 to 13 October. Because CityLink Mall is reached underground from City Hall and Esplanade MRT, taking the train and walking through the underground link is usually more practical than driving that week. Station arrangements and crowd control can change on race nights, so check LTA and the train operators' updates before you travel, and allow extra time.
