Neck and hand rejuvenation in Singapore uses injectable hyaluronic acid (HA), as filler or as a skin booster, to improve two areas that are often overlooked. On the neck, the common concern is horizontal lines, sometimes called 'tech neck' lines, along with crepey skin on the neck and décolletage. On the hands, the back of the hand loses fat and the skin thins, so tendons and veins become more visible and the hands look bony.
People often ask about it after noticing that their face has been treated but their neck and hands now look older by comparison. These treatments are performed by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic. SkinRev Lab can help with non-invasive skin tightening for the surface layer.

How it works
The mechanism,
in plain English
For horizontal neck lines, a soft, low-firmness HA filler or skin booster is placed very superficially along and under each line, often as tiny threads or microdroplets, to lift the crease and improve skin hydration. Neck skin is thin and mobile, so soft gels and small amounts are used to avoid lumps. For crepey skin, a booster-style approach spreads small amounts across the area to improve hydration and elasticity.
For the hands, a volumising HA gel is placed in the layer just under the skin on the back of the hand, above the tendons and away from the larger veins, usually with a blunt cannula through one or two entry points, then gently massaged to spread evenly. Typical treatment volumes in published studies are about 2 mL per hand. The hands have fewer high-risk arteries than the face, but veins, tendons and nerves still need care, and swelling can be noticeable for a few days.
“Neck lines and bony hands respond to injectable HA; loose, hanging neck skin or heavy pigment need different tools.”

Is it right for you
Who it suits,
and who it does not
This treatment usually suits adults with visible horizontal neck lines that persist at rest, crepey neck or chest skin, or thin, bony-looking hands with prominent tendons and veins. It suits people who want their neck and hands to match a face that has been cared for, and who prefer a gradual, subtle change.
It is not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over skin infection, eczema or open wounds, or in people with known allergy to HA products. Loose, hanging neck skin or strong vertical neck bands respond better to tightening, wrinkle-relaxing injections or surgery. Sun spots on the hands need laser or skincare, not filler. People who rely heavily on their hands for work should plan around a few days of swelling.
Non-invasive alternative at SkinRev Lab
SKINTIGHT® — SKINTIGHT® at SkinRev uses Alma PrimeX microplasma and UltraWave resurfacing to tighten and smooth the surface layer, which suits crepey neck and décolletage skin. It does not fill lines or restore hand volume, so for deep neck lines or bony hands, injectable HA is the more direct option. Read more
What to expect
Consultation, session
and aftercare
At consultation, Dr Sin Yong examines the neck at rest and in movement, and the hands with fingers relaxed and spread, and asks about previous treatments, allergies and your work. He explains whether filler, a booster, or a combination suits you, and whether other tools such as tightening or laser would add more. On the day, numbing cream is applied, and the treatment is done through small entry points or microinjections.
After neck treatment, small bumps along the lines usually settle within a day or two; avoid tight collars and heavy exercise for a day. After hand treatment, the backs of the hands may look swollen for several days; keep them raised when you can, avoid heavy lifting and hot water soaks for a day or two, and remove tight rings beforehand. A course is usually planned at consultation.

What the research says
The evidence,
with sources
A 2026 systematic review and meta-analysis of 11 studies (379 participants) found that HA fillers significantly improved horizontal neck lines on wrinkle scales and global aesthetic scores, with instrument measurements also showing better hydration, elasticity and dermal structure. Complications were mostly mild and transient. The pooled retreatment rate within a year was about half, which is a fair reminder that the neck usually needs maintenance.
For the hands, a randomised, evaluator-blinded split-hand study of 90 adults compared a 20 mg/mL HA filler with no treatment and found significantly better hand volume scores on the treated side, with most treatment-related events mild and none serious; the mean volume at first treatment was about 2.1 mL. A randomised split-hand study of 100 Chinese adults also found that HA gel improved skin quality and the ageing appearance of the hands, with good tolerability.

Common questions
Your questions,
answered
How much does neck and hand rejuvenation in Singapore cost?
The cost depends on the areas, whether filler, a booster or both are used, and how many sessions are planned. Pricing is given at your consultation with Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic. SkinRev Lab does not inject; for non-invasive tightening of crepey neck skin, SKINTIGHT® at SkinRev is S$588.
Can filler get rid of tech neck lines?
HA filler or boosters can soften horizontal neck lines noticeably, especially lines that remain at rest, by lifting the crease and improving skin quality. Lines that are very deep or that come with loose skin may only partly improve. Posture and sun protection still matter, and published data suggest many people need maintenance within a year.
Is neck and hand rejuvenation in Singapore safe?
Generally yes, when done carefully. The neck and hands have fewer high-risk arteries than the face. Common effects are bumps, swelling and bruising. Lumps can occur if filler is placed too superficially or unevenly. In the hands, swelling can last several days and veins and tendons need to be respected. HA can be dissolved if needed.
Will hand filler hide my veins?
It can make veins and tendons look less prominent by restoring the cushion of tissue over them, so the back of the hand looks smoother. It does not remove veins, and very prominent veins may still show. Brown spots on the hands are a separate issue and respond better to laser and sunscreen.
What is the downtime for hands?
The backs of the hands often look puffy for several days, and bruising is possible. Most people can use their hands normally the same day, but should avoid heavy lifting, gripping exercise and very hot water for a day or two. Take off tight rings before treatment, as fingers can swell slightly.
Should I treat my neck with filler or tightening?
It depends on the problem. Horizontal lines and crepey texture respond well to injectable HA. Loose skin and early laxity respond better to tightening treatments such as SKINTIGHT® at SkinRev or doctor-led energy devices. Prominent vertical bands come from the platysma muscle and may respond to wrinkle-relaxing injections. Many necks need a combination.
