HydraFacial vs Rejuran® PDRN Facial a reset now, or skin quality over time
We offer both at our CityLink Mall aesthetic centre, and they solve different problems. One clears and hydrates in a single visit; the other works gradually on texture and resilience across a course. Here is how to tell which one you need.

Quick answer
- HydraFacial Syndeo is a cleansing and hydration facial: a vortex tip under vacuum exfoliates, extracts and infuses serum in one 45-minute session. It is chosen for congestion, blackheads, dullness and dehydration.
- The Rejuran® PDRN Facial delivers cosmetic-grade c-PDRN (a polynucleotide) through the skin with Meso Touch transdermal technology, with no needles. It is chosen for texture, post-acne marks and longer-term skin quality, built across a course.
- HydraFacial Syndeo is S$288 to S$438 per session, and the Rejuran® PDRN Facial is S$128 to S$348, all before GST. The HydraFacial first-timer rate is given at the counter.
- Many clients alternate: a Rejuran® PDRN Facial course for skin quality, with HydraFacial Syndeo every four to six weeks for a deep cleanse.
Different jobs
One clears the surface, the other works on quality
HydraFacial Syndeo and the Rejuran® PDRN Facial are often compared because both are popular, both use no needles and both are done at SkinRev Lab, a non-invasive aesthetic centre at CityLink Mall. They are not interchangeable. HydraFacial is a cleansing and hydration treatment that works at the surface and pore level. The Rejuran® PDRN Facial is a skin-quality treatment built around a polynucleotide active, and its effect builds gradually across a course.
Neither one replaces the other, which is why our Aesthetic Specialist will usually ask what is bothering you most before recommending either.
HydraFacial Syndeo
Cleanse, extract, infuse
Every HydraFacial Syndeo at SkinRev Lab follows the same three-phase protocol on the current Syndeo system, over a 45-minute session with genuine tips and serums. Because extraction is vacuum-based rather than a manual squeeze, it clears congestion with far less trauma than a traditional extraction facial.
Very sensitive skin may show mild, temporary flushing that typically settles within an hour. Make-up can go on the same day, which is why HydraFacial is a common choice a few days before an event.
- Cleanse and peel: a gentle exfoliating tip and a mild glycolic and salicylic acid blend lift dead skin cells and unclog pores.
- Extract and hydrate: the Vortex-Fusion® tip uses gentle suction to clear blackheads and congestion while bathing the skin in hydration.
- Fuse and protect: a serum blend chosen for your skin, with actives such as peptides and hyaluronic acid, is infused into the freshly cleared skin.
- Add-ons: the JLo Beauty Booster can be added to any tier during the hydration step, and Perk Lip and Perk Eye use a separate roller-flex applicator for the lips and eye area.
Rejuran® PDRN Facial
A polynucleotide facial, delivered without needles
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a polynucleotide: short chains of DNA fragments, in Rejuran®'s case purified from salmon, that signal the skin to support its own repair, including fibroblast activity, hydration and barrier quality. It is not a filler and nothing is heated.
At SkinRev Lab, cosmetic-grade c-PDRN is delivered transdermally using Meso Touch technology, past the outer barrier of the skin without breaking it. This is different from injected polynucleotides, which are a medical procedure performed by a doctor at a higher concentration and with a short recovery. SkinRev Lab does not inject. The topical route works more gradually, which is why it is planned as a course.
There are three ranges, each built around the same c-PDRN infusion. Singapore focuses on muscle relaxation, a relaxing technique or MLD lymphatic drainage; Oriental uses pressure-point massage and whole-face guasha; Korea layers a mesotherapy-style topical infusion with tone-up or skin boosters, LED and, in one tier, scalp care. Sessions run 60, 75 or 90 minutes, and longer sessions add techniques rather than a stronger active.

Choosing
Which to book first
- If your skin is congested, start with HydraFacial Syndeo. Clearing blackheads and congestion first means anything that follows works on cleaner skin.
- If you have an event coming up, book HydraFacial a few days before rather than on the day itself.
- If texture, post-acne marks or reactive, sensitised skin is the long-term concern, a Rejuran® PDRN Facial course suits that goal better than repeating a cleansing facial.
- If you specifically want an injectable skin booster, that is a doctor's procedure. At our affiliated clinic it is performed by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic, Pacific Plaza, and is priced at consultation by the clinic.
- If you want both, they are usually sequenced across different appointments rather than done in the same visit.
Prices
What each costs at SkinRev Lab
Prices are in Singapore dollars and shown before GST. HydraFacial Syndeo has three tiers, each a 45-minute session: Signature S$288, Deluxe S$388 and Platinum S$438. A first-timer rate is available on every tier for new clients; ask at the counter. The JLo Beauty Booster adds S$68 to any tier, and Perk Lip and Perk Eye are priced at the counter.
The Rejuran® PDRN Facial has nine tiers across three ranges. Singapore: Essential 60 minutes S$128, Signature 75 minutes S$158, Professional 90 minutes S$188. Oriental: Essential S$148, Signature S$178, Professional S$208. Korea: Signature 60 minutes S$248, Professional 75 minutes S$298, Professional (Scalp) 90 minutes S$348. The entry tier is not a weaker treatment; the c-PDRN infusion is the same throughout.
What the research says
Small studies, honest limits
The published research on hydradermabrasion is small and short. In a randomised study of 20 women, Freedman found that six hydradermabrasion treatments with an antioxidant serum increased epidermal and papillary dermal thickness and skin antioxidant levels on biopsy, while applying the same serum by hand did not. In a 12-week open-label study of 20 adults with mild to moderate acne, more participants were rated clear or almost clear after six HydraFacial clarifying treatments; there was no control group, and one author was employed by the manufacturer.
For polynucleotides, a 2025 systematic review found nine studies of low to moderate quality, covering 219 patients, all of them using injections. The results were promising, but the authors called for more rigorous trials. Evidence for injected polynucleotides does not transfer directly to topical delivery, so we describe the Rejuran® PDRN Facial as a gradual improvement in hydration, calm and texture rather than the result of an injection.

Common questions
Your questions,
answered
HydraFacial or Rejuran® facial — which should I choose?
Choose HydraFacial Syndeo if you want congestion cleared and skin refreshed for an event. Choose the Rejuran® PDRN Facial if you want to work on underlying texture, post-acne marks and resilience over a course. Our Aesthetic Specialist will recommend one at consultation, including a lower tier if that suits you.
Is the Rejuran® PDRN Facial at SkinRev Lab injected?
No. Every Rejuran® protocol at SkinRev Lab is topical, with c-PDRN delivered transdermally through Meso Touch. SkinRev Lab does not perform injections. Injectable skin boosters are performed by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic and priced at consultation by the clinic.
Can I have HydraFacial and a Rejuran® facial together?
Yes, and many clients alternate them. A common rhythm is a Rejuran® PDRN Facial course spaced a few weeks apart, with HydraFacial Syndeo every four to six weeks. They are usually sequenced across separate appointments.
How much is HydraFacial at SkinRev Lab?
Signature S$288, Deluxe S$388 and Platinum S$438 per 45-minute session, before GST. New clients can ask at the counter for the first-timer rate on any tier. The JLo Beauty Booster is S$68 on any tier.
How much is the Rejuran® PDRN Facial?
From S$128 for the 60-minute Singapore Essential to S$348 for the 90-minute Korea Professional (Scalp), before GST. The Singapore range is S$128 to S$188, Oriental S$148 to S$208 and Korea S$248 to S$348.
Is there downtime after either facial?
Neither is designed to need recovery time. Very sensitive skin may flush briefly after HydraFacial, and this usually settles within the hour. Most clients return to work or their plans straight after either treatment.
