Bikini Wax in Singapore bikini line, extended, or something longer term
SkinRev Lab waxes the bikini line and extended bikini in a private room at CityLink Mall, at set prices with GST included. For a full Brazilian, we point you towards laser hair removal instead.

Quick answer
- Bikini line wax at SkinRev Lab: S$38 for women, S$48 for men. Extended bikini: S$58 for women, S$68 for men. GST included. New clients get a first-visit rate on one area: S$28 for a bikini line, S$38 for an extended bikini.
- Bikini line: what shows outside underwear. Extended bikini: further in at the sides and top. Brazilian: most or all of the hair.
- For a full Brazilian, we recommend laser hair removal by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic, priced at consultation by the clinic.
- First bikini wax? Let the hair grow to about 5 mm (two to three weeks), book outside the days just before and during your period if you can, and skip heat, pool and gym for 24 hours afterwards.
The three styles
Bikini line, extended bikini or Brazilian: what each removes
Most of the confusion around a bikini wax is about how much hair comes off. The names are used loosely, so here is how SkinRev Lab, our non-invasive aesthetic centre at CityLink Mall, uses them.
Bikini line: the hair that would show outside standard underwear or a swimsuit, at the sides and along the top. It is the gentlest starting point if you have never waxed this area.
Extended bikini: goes further in from the sides and takes in more at the top, so higher-cut swimwear sits cleanly, leaving a smaller, tidier shape on the front. Tell your Aesthetic Specialist exactly where you want the line to sit.
Brazilian: removes most or all of the hair, front to back. Here we suggest a different route, explained below.
| Style | What is removed | Women (GST incl.) | Men (GST incl.) | First visit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bikini line (Medium band) | Hair outside the underwear line, at the sides and top | S$38 | S$48 | S$28 |
| Extended bikini (Large band) | Further in at the sides and top; a smaller shape left on the front | S$58 | S$68 | S$38 |
| Brazilian | Most or all of the hair, front to back | Laser recommended instead | Laser recommended instead | Laser is priced at consultation by IN Eternity Clinic |
Prices
Bikini wax prices at SkinRev Lab
Every waxing area at SkinRev Lab sits in one of four price bands. The bikini line is in the Medium band, with underarms and inner thighs; the extended bikini is in the Large band, with half legs and full arms. Waxing prices include GST, so the figure you are quoted is the figure you pay.
The first-visit rate applies once per new client, to one area, on the first session: S$28 for a bikini line, S$38 for an extended bikini. Men's rates are S$10 higher in these bands, reflecting coarser hair and longer time on the bed.
Extra areas are priced by their own band. A bikini line plus underarms for women is S$76, or S$66 with the first-visit rate on one of them.
Brazilian
Why we point full Brazilian requests towards laser
The intimate area is where repeated hair removal most often brings ingrown hairs, bumps and irritation, and a Brazilian has to be repeated every four to six weeks. If you want the whole area bare for the long run, laser hair removal is usually the better route, because it reduces the hair itself over a course of sessions.
Laser hair removal is a medical treatment, so SkinRev Lab does not perform it. It is done by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic, our affiliated clinic at 9 Scotts Road, #12-01 Pacific Plaza, beside Orchard MRT, three stops from City Hall on the North-South line. The clinic uses the Lutronic Clarity II, with 755 nm alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelengths chosen for your skin tone. It aims for long-term reduction, not removal of every hair, and is priced at consultation by the clinic. The clinic is open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 8pm; WhatsApp +65 8815 3008, or ask us and we will pass your enquiry on.
Laser depends on pigment in the hair, so it works poorly on white, grey, very blonde or red hair. If that is you, or you need a clean result for an event before laser could make a difference, WhatsApp us and we will talk through the options honestly. Moving to laser? Stop waxing and plucking about four weeks before your first session and shave instead.
First bikini wax
Before your first bikini wax
- Hair length: about 5 mm, roughly two to three weeks of growth, so stop shaving that long before. Shorter than that and the wax has nothing to grip. If you are not sure, come anyway and we will tell you honestly whether to wax today or rebook.
- Timing: many people find their skin more sensitive in the days just before and during a period. For a first wax, book outside those days if you can.
- Exfoliate gently a day or two ahead, and skip moisturiser on the area on the day. Go easy on caffeine if you are sensitive.
- Wear loose clothing to go home in, and do not wax over sunburn, broken skin or an active rash.
- Tell us first if you take oral isotretinoin or use retinoids on the area, are pregnant, or have had recent laser or peels there. The usual guidance is to wait six months after finishing oral isotretinoin and to stop topical retinoids on the area about a week before. Check with your doctor; we would rather reschedule than risk lifting the skin.
Does it hurt
What a bikini wax feels like, honestly
Yes, it hurts, and more than legs or arms, because the skin is thinner and more sensitive. The first session is the most uncomfortable. Each strip is a sharp second, and for many people the waiting is worse than the wax. It gets noticeably easier by the third visit as the hair grows back finer.
SkinRev Lab uses warm wax, which removes each hair from the follicle. Every wax is done in a closed room by one Aesthetic Specialist; nobody walks through, and nobody sells you a package while you are on the bed. If you need a pause, say so.
A bikini line is quicker than a Brazilian, which takes about twenty minutes, and it is a sensible way to see how your skin reacts before deciding on anything more. Expect brief redness, and sometimes small bumps around the follicles, which usually settle on their own.
Aftercare
Aftercare and ingrown hairs
For 24 hours afterwards, skip hot showers, sauna, pool and the gym. Keep the area clean and loosely clothed. Friction irritates freshly waxed skin, so give tight clothing and sex a day too.
From day three, start exfoliating gently again. It is the single most useful thing you can do about ingrown hairs along the bikini line, where underwear elastic rubs. Do not pick or squeeze bumps.
Ingrown hairs are common with any pubic hair removal. In a survey of 333 women at two US public clinics, 60% reported at least one complication from removing pubic hair by any method, most often skin abrasion and ingrown hairs. A separate study of 28 women with bumps after waxing found about a third were a foreign-body reaction to hair shaft or keratin resembling pseudofolliculitis.
See a doctor if bumps become painful, spread, fill with pus or do not settle. If ingrown hairs keep returning, consider laser rather than more waxing.
How often
How often to wax the bikini line
Every four to six weeks suits most people. After a first wax you may see some regrowth sooner, because hair grows in cycles and not every hair was at the same stage. Keep a regular rhythm and avoid shaving in between, so the hair is long enough each time.
Waxing does not stop hair growing; the follicle is unchanged. Regrowth tends to be slower and finer than after shaving, but if you want less hair over time rather than smooth skin for a few weeks, that is what laser is for.
Darkened skin
If the skin along the bikini line has darkened
Darkening along the bikini line and inner thighs is common, from friction, shaving, waxing or hormonal change, and waxing does not treat it. SKINPINK is a separate, needle-free topical brightening treatment at SkinRev Lab for areas including the bikini line, intimate area and inner thighs: S$288 per region per session before GST, or S$88 for one region on a first visit. A course is planned at your assessment, and results vary.
If you plan both, avoid waxing or shaving the area for three days before each SKINPINK session. Darkening that appears suddenly, spreads or feels velvety should be checked by a doctor first.

Common questions
Your questions,
answered
How much is a bikini wax in Singapore at SkinRev Lab?
A bikini line is S$38 for women and S$48 for men; an extended bikini is S$58 for women and S$68 for men, GST included. New clients get a first-visit rate on one area, once, on the first session: S$28 for a bikini line or S$38 for an extended bikini.
What is the difference between a bikini line wax and an extended bikini?
A bikini line removes the hair that would show outside standard underwear or swimwear. An extended bikini goes further in at the sides and top, leaving a smaller shape on the front. A Brazilian removes most or all of the hair, front to back.
Do you do Brazilian waxing?
For a full Brazilian, we recommend laser hair removal, performed by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic and priced at consultation by the clinic, because the intimate area is where repeated waxing most often brings ingrown hairs. If your hair is too light or grey for laser, WhatsApp us and we will talk through the options.
How long should my hair be for a first bikini wax?
About 5 mm, roughly two to three weeks of growth. Shorter than that and the wax cannot grip, which means patchy results and more passes over the same skin.
Can I get a bikini wax on my period?
Many people find their skin more sensitive just before and during a period, so for a first wax it is worth booking outside those days. If your period starts unexpectedly, WhatsApp us on +65 8266 9585 and we can decide together whether to go ahead or move the slot.
Does a bikini wax hurt?
Yes, more than legs or arms, and the first session is the most uncomfortable. Each strip is a sharp second, and it gets noticeably easier by the third visit. We will not pretend otherwise.
How do I avoid ingrown hairs after a bikini wax?
Wear loose clothing, skip heat, pool and the gym for 24 hours, and exfoliate gently from day three. Do not pick at bumps; see a doctor if they become painful, fill with pus or keep recurring.
How often should I get a bikini wax?
Every four to six weeks for most people. Avoid shaving in between so the hair is long enough to wax each time.
