Scalp Treatment in Singapore scalp care, the look of density, or a doctor
A scalp treatment can mean three different things: caring for the scalp skin, changing how thinning looks, or treating the cause of hair loss. Here is which one fits your concern, what each costs, and when to see a doctor before booking anything.

Quick answer
- Oily, dry or irritated scalp, or general scalp care: Rejuran® Scalp Care at SkinRev Lab, a needle-free c-PDRN treatment. The published option is the Korea Professional (Scalp) tier, 90 minutes, S$348 before GST.
- Want the look of a fuller hairline or crown: scalp micropigmentation (SMP), cosmetic tattooing that adds the appearance of density. From S$688 before GST. It does not grow hair.
- Thinning, shedding or a receding hairline: hair loss has a cause, and a doctor should find it. Dr Sin Yong treats hair loss at IN Eternity Clinic, our affiliated clinic at Pacific Plaza; pricing is given at consultation.
- See a doctor first if loss is sudden or patchy, if the scalp is painful, red or scaly, or if you notice shiny or scarred patches.

Three different jobs called scalp treatment
People search for a scalp treatment in Singapore for very different reasons: an oily scalp that feels heavy by evening, more scalp showing under office lights, or hair falling out fast. Those are three different problems, and no single treatment covers all of them.
It helps to sort your concern into one of three jobs before you book. Scalp care looks after the condition of the scalp skin. Camouflage changes how thinning looks without changing the hair. Medical treatment goes after the cause of hair loss, and starts with a diagnosis.
SkinRev Lab, our non-invasive aesthetic centre at CityLink Mall, offers the first two. Medical hair loss treatment is performed by Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic, our affiliated clinic.
Common concerns
What your scalp concern usually points to
- Oily scalp, hair that goes flat by the afternoon: usually a scalp-care question. Gentle scalp care can help it feel cleaner and more comfortable; it is not a hair loss treatment.
- Dry, tight or mildly irritated scalp: also scalp care, alongside a gentle shampoo routine. If it itches persistently or flakes heavily, see a doctor, as flaking can come from conditions such as seborrhoeic dermatitis or psoriasis that need diagnosis.
- A wider parting or more scalp showing over the crown: often pattern thinning, especially if it has crept up over months or years. This is a medical question first.
- A receding hairline at the temples: in men, the classic early sign of pattern hair loss. Medical treatment aims to protect the hairs still there; SMP can redraw the look of a hairline that has already settled.
- Sudden heavy shedding: often follows illness, a high fever, crash dieting, childbirth or major stress, and can be linked to low iron or thyroid problems. A doctor should check the cause.
- Round bald patches, or a red, scaly or painful scalp: see a doctor promptly. These are not cosmetic concerns.
Scalp care
Rejuran® Scalp Care at SkinRev Lab
Rejuran® Scalp Care applies cosmetic-grade c-PDRN, a salmon-derived polynucleotide from the Korean Rejuran® Professional range, to the scalp without needles. It is delivered with Meso Touch transdermal technology, the same needle-free route used in our Rejuran® PDRN Facial. It is not the injectable Rejuran® Healer, which is a doctor's procedure, and nothing is injected at SkinRev Lab.
The published option is the Korea Professional (Scalp) tier of the Rejuran® PDRN Facial: a 90-minute session that pairs a radiance facial with c-PDRN scalp care, S$348 before GST. If you are looking for scalp care on its own, ask on WhatsApp and our team will tell you what is available.
What it is for: the condition and comfort of the scalp skin, for example a scalp that feels oily, dry or irritated, or as gentle care while you wait for, or follow, a doctor's plan. What it is not: a regrowth treatment. It does not diagnose or treat the cause of hair loss, and we will not sell it to you as one.
The look of density
Scalp micropigmentation: changing how thinning looks
Scalp micropigmentation places tiny pigment dots in the scalp that read as short hair follicles. Repeated across an area, they create the look of density or a defined hairline. It is cosmetic tattooing, and it is the one scalp service at SkinRev Lab that uses a needle. Numbing is used for comfort.
It suits a high, uneven or receding hairline, a thinning crown or parting, and close crops that should read fuller. It does not grow hair, slow loss or replace medical care. If loss is still progressing, the design has to allow for where the hairline is heading, which is one reason we assess in person before quoting.
Density is built in layers over more than one appointment, in private sessions with our resident permanent makeup and hairline artist. Prices are starting points, before GST, confirmed after a short assessment: Hairline Reshape from S$688, Receding Hairline from S$988, Full Hairline from S$1,288, and Crown or Density from S$1,888.
Medical hair loss treatment
When the problem is hair loss: Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic
The most common cause of thinning in both men and women is pattern hair loss, or androgenetic alopecia, in which genetically sensitive follicles slowly shrink and each new hair grows back finer. It is progressive, and the realistic aim of treatment is to protect and strengthen the follicles still working. Follicles that have gone completely cannot be brought back by any lotion, light or injection.
At IN Eternity Clinic, 9 Scotts Road, #12-01 Pacific Plaza, beside Orchard MRT, Dr Sin Yong (MBBS Singapore, MRCS Edinburgh, MSc Practical Dermatology Cardiff) starts with a diagnosis: a history, a magnified scalp examination and blood tests such as iron and thyroid where indicated. The plan follows from what he finds, and pricing is given at consultation.
- Medical Hair Loss Treatment: diagnosis first, then prescription medication chosen for your situation, with progress tracked by standardised photographs over months.
- Female Hair Loss Treatment: a programme that looks for iron, thyroid and hormonal causes, then combines treatment where suitable, with medication safety checked for pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- H2LT Laser: a low-level red laser protocol to support follicles that are thinning but still present, given as a course of short in-clinic sessions of about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Regenera Activa: small samples from the back of your own scalp are processed into micrografts and placed into thinning areas in a single visit under local anaesthetic. It supports existing follicles; it does not move them.
Side by side
Scalp care, SMP and medical treatment compared
Many people combine routes: a medical plan for active thinning, scalp care for comfort, and SMP later if the look of density still matters.
| Option | What it does | What it does not do | Where and price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rejuran® Scalp Care | Needle-free c-PDRN care for the condition and comfort of the scalp skin | Diagnose or treat the cause of hair loss; regrow hair | SkinRev Lab; Korea Professional (Scalp), 90 min, S$348 before GST |
| Scalp micropigmentation | Adds the look of density or a defined hairline with fine pigment | Grow hair or slow hair loss | SkinRev Lab; from S$688 to from S$1,888 before GST, after assessment |
| Medical hair loss treatment | Finds the cause; aims to slow loss and thicken hair that is still growing | Revive follicles that are already gone | IN Eternity Clinic, Dr Sin Yong; priced at consultation |
| H2LT laser or Regenera Activa | Supports thinning follicles, usually as part of a medical plan | Fill areas that are already smooth and bald | IN Eternity Clinic, Dr Sin Yong; priced at consultation |
See a doctor first
When a scalp treatment is the wrong first step
Book a doctor's review before any scalp service if any of these apply. Our Aesthetic Specialists will say so on the day too, rather than sell you a session.
- Sudden, heavy or patchy hair loss, including round bald patches.
- A scalp that is painful, burning, red, scaly or weeping, or itching that does not settle.
- Shiny or scarred patches where hair has gone, which can signal a scarring alopecia that needs specialist care.
- Hair loss that started after a new medicine, an illness or childbirth and has not settled after several months.
- Thinning together with irregular periods, acne, new facial hair, tiredness or weight change.
- Losing hair quickly at a young age, or a hairline that is visibly moving year on year.
Prices and booking
Scalp treatment prices, and where to go
At SkinRev Lab, the Korea Professional (Scalp) Rejuran® session is S$348 and scalp micropigmentation starts from S$688, both before GST, which is currently 9%. For example, S$348 comes to S$379.32 with GST. SMP quotes are confirmed after a short assessment because the size of the area and the density you want change the work involved.
SkinRev Lab is at #B1-28 CityLink Mall, 1 Raffles Link, Singapore 039393, on the underground link between City Hall MRT and Esplanade MRT, open daily 11am to 8pm. WhatsApp +65 8266 9585. For hair loss, contact IN Eternity Clinic directly on WhatsApp +65 8815 3008 (Monday to Saturday, 11am to 8pm, closed Sunday), or ask us and we will pass your enquiry on. Results vary, and suitability is assessed first wherever you go.

Common questions
Your questions,
answered
How much is a scalp treatment in Singapore at SkinRev Lab?
The published scalp-care option is the Korea Professional (Scalp) tier of the Rejuran® PDRN Facial, 90 minutes, S$348 before GST. Scalp micropigmentation starts from S$688 before GST and is confirmed after an assessment.
Does a scalp treatment regrow hair?
Scalp care at SkinRev Lab looks after the scalp skin; it is not a regrowth treatment. Scalp micropigmentation changes how thinning looks without growing hair. Treating the cause of hair loss is a doctor's job.
Which hair loss treatment in Singapore has the most evidence?
It depends on the cause. For pattern hair loss, doctor-prescribed medication has the largest body of evidence, and laser or micrografting may be added. Dr Sin Yong assesses this at IN Eternity Clinic.
Can I treat an oily or flaky scalp at SkinRev Lab?
An oily or mildly irritated scalp is a reasonable reason to book scalp care. Persistent flaking, itching or redness can come from conditions such as seborrhoeic dermatitis or psoriasis, so see a doctor if it does not settle.
Is Rejuran® Scalp Care an injection?
No. At SkinRev Lab, c-PDRN is applied to the scalp with Meso Touch transdermal technology and no needles. Injectable polynucleotide treatments are a doctor's procedure and are not done at SkinRev Lab.
Does scalp micropigmentation hurt, and how many sessions are needed?
There is some sensation, as it is done with a fine needle, and numbing is used for comfort. Density is built in layers over more than one appointment; the plan is set after an in-person assessment.
When should I see a doctor about hair thinning?
If loss is sudden, patchy, painful or scaly, if it follows a new medicine or illness, if your parting keeps widening, or if thinning comes with other symptoms. Earlier assessment protects more of the follicles you still have.
